Introducing OceanHeroes
A Global Movement for Crew Support Launches
Created by AQUAREX, the OceanHeroes initiative is here to promote trust and communication between Ship Owners/Managers and their crew.
By working closely with vessels and their crews, the project aims to improve communication, learning and trust by delivering key messages and a global community to celebrate and support seafarers.
OceanHeroes was created by a passionate team that includes ex-seafarers and professionals in our industry, with the mission statement to develop and nurture a community for our seafarers, delivered by on-vessel materials (such as posters, documents and other materials) and with an online community where all are welcomed to communicate, share and learn together.
Not only is the OceanHeroes project here to help our crew learn and communicate, but also to engage and advise in their own way, imparting knowledge and sharing updates with family and friends.
The OceanHeroes also features its own mascots, Ocean and Pearl, who offer a fun way to communicate the community messages and learning opportunities. Ocean and Pearl help convey important messages that may be easy to overlook, making them exciting, engaging, and easy to remember.
